    hello,

    can someone please find this man in the 1901 census please?

    deaths dec 1901

    ernest james conway, 33

    if it's my uncle, he was born in lewisham, kent in 1868.

    Do u have any idea who he may be with. Was he married for instance?

      Is Ernest James mother called Sara and sister Florence living in Lewisham in 1891. Just want to check it is the right family to help the search for 1901.

            hehe:D no, i've got her on the censuses. she married thomas henry morton in 1892. ernest has been a right royal pain.:( thanx for looking though.

                    thanx for that quoy, but it seems to be about men who died in the boer war.
                    it was a very interesting site, but couldn't find anything on my uncles.

                      I see he was a Printer in 1891.

                      There's an EJC (initials only) who is aged either 33 or 35 living in the Kent County Lunatic Asylum in 1901 who was a Printer. No place of birth recorded.

                      He is listed as a lunatic. :o

                          That might not be your chap, but the death cert might give an indication as to whether it's likely.

                                      Exactly, so it probably isn't him, unless the info saying he was a married man is incorrect (not unheard of).

                                      Given the death wasn't anywhere near that asylum, I would presume it isn't him.

                                      The death cert might enable you to work out where he was in 1901 though!
