could a single Woman just join for two years during the War ??? or would she have had to do the whole time???
And was there an age limit for when you had to join.

Depends when she joined.
She may have enlisted for "Hostilities Only" which meant she was discharged at the end of the War.
She may have been discharged if
she got married,
became sick so not able to undertake her duties.
got pregnant

ooer thats the point I think she did have a baby while unmarried, she says she joined up in 1939 for 2 years only ????
