  • Help reading MC

With thanks to Margaret I have got back to a marriage in 1859 between Robert Milne and Jessie Grosart but the parents names are really hard to read

    Anyone got any suggestions please?

My suggestion is to contact ScotlandsPeople to say the image is illegible. They are usually very good at rescanning and emailing the image to you, and somethimes refund some credits as well.

I'd say that the "...elland" name is most likely to be "Clelland"?

Or James could be a "Wright" (wheel- or whatever)

I think it's "Wright" as well, and I think the other occupation says "Shoemaker (deceased)".
