  • census help please

    hello, i need help with a census page. i don't have the ref, and i can't read the occupation, either.

    1861- camberwell/peckham

    thomas gadd, age 50, b.sussex, sub deanery, chichester.
    he is with wife emma, and daughter cecilia.

    also, can someone please find emma, the wife afterwards?
    i don't have her ref for 1871, and im not sure when she died

    can someone please help?

            The first letter is not at all clear but I would think it is a "Blacker" which I think would be a boot polish maker

                  i have another occupation i can't read.

                  peter j. ford. 1891, chapeltown, leeds. age 28, b.kent, woolwich.
                  ref- 3713, folio 7, page 8.
                  he is down near the bottom of the page.
                  could someone take a look?
