The 1901 census shows a Edwin J Adams born c1859 Bristol, married to Emma born c1858 Lambeth with daughter Mary H Adams, born 1898 Birmingham Warwickshire. Edwin's occupation is Joiner. They are living at 24 Henley Street, Aston.

Have you found Edwin in the 1911 census with Bethia - if so what is his occupation and does he have Mary with him?
Thank you for your message. Edwin's occupation was cabinet maker which could also be called joiner. Have been unable to access 1911 census yet, but know he lived with Bethia in 1907 and the marriage certificate shows him as "widowed", but his daughter Irene Bessie felt we should not research family tree until after her death (2002) as there was obviously a family secret she did not want to hear about.
