John Rose born in Hackney on the 1911 census living in Hackney with a wife Agnes aged 27 she was born in Walthamstowe says married 8 years

first child Thomas aged 6 born in Seven Kings Essex Cannot find a marriage

The other chap on page is Harry Walter Boreham

Sorry cannot find the marriage I also looked for Thomas birth in Seven kings because I thought may be they married in Essex but could not find him.

And Gwen I couldnt find the first two childrens births either both born in Essex but found the second two born in Hackney ??? which is odd .

The only two marriages I can find so far for a John and Ada are the two already found. May be you will have to apply for a birth cert for one of the kids to confirm MN.

You would think as the years go on peeps would learn to fill in the census forms with more precise details. Does the childrens names you found give any clues. I have been lucky sometimes with middle name as MMN?

Looks like Isola married Harry Williams (1911 census)

and there's an Ada Rose in Barnet with a John Rose ... her YOB is 1883

and his is 1882 ... :(

Looking on FreeBMD again, there's a marriage for a John Rose ~ 1902 in Kensington

possible wife Agnes Maud McDonald

So that's no good and the other Agnes' didn't seem to be in the right area either
