  • Gateshead 1911 Census Message

Just got an email from 1911 census which includes

We are pleased to announce that the census returns for Gateshead will be uploaded, and will be searchable within the correct county of Durham, in a few weeks’ time. An anomaly in the catalogue meant that the data had been classified as part of Northumberland. This has now been rectified and the records will become available when the English counties are completed.

    Many thanks for your patience.

Best of luck with all your research,

    The 1911census.co.uk team
