Can anyone tell me if it is possible to find out about passports issued between 1910 and 1914, as I have found out that my grandfather visited canada between these dates

I don't know about passport information but have you tried Findmypast Passenger Lists leaving UK 1890-1960?

I have had quite a few results from that.

Are you sure he'd have needed a passport for Canada, then?

Passports were not compulsory until 1915. However FMP do have lists of people who have applied for passports so you can search their lists.

The passport applications on findmypast only go up to 1903 so I would think more recent ones aren't available.
