  • Anyone do a lookup of California Voters in 1940 please

I've just found a listing for my great uncle, Arthur Theodore CARSONS in the California Voter Registrations 1900 - 1968 on Ancestry. It shows him in Los Angeles County in 1940. Unfortunately I don't have a Worlds Sub. I would be very grateful if someone could please look at this for me and let me know what details are listed.

    Thank you.

        Any clues?

Found the California Voter Registrations, 1900-1968 but can't find a Arthur Theodore Carsons listed

it seems to be a strange database. You put the name in the search but it picks out anyone with any of those names. So you get all of the Arthur's, all of the Theodore's and all of the Carson's including Carson St.

          Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Ah that would probably explain it Margaret.
I wasn't aware that 'Uncle Archie' lived in America (although I know he visited) long enough to be on the Voters Register. Probably not him at all then :(

Thank you very much for looking for me.

              It's OK Sue.

A very strange database, don't know how you are supposed to find anyone on it or of what use it may be.
