Some interesting information here ... Accounts of Churchwardens of St Martin's, Leicester
includes a list of subscribers, cost of painting the chapel, mending silver candlestick, burials for which the bells weren't paid for! (it gives their names), £1 12s 9d paid for a cushion for the pulpit (1647), (1688) paid Michael Banshaw £1 15s for a cloth gown .... there's lots of info / names mentioned ... it's quite interesting although I've not found any of my ancestors in it (yet)
