  • Where can I found what Ancestry holds?

Before Ancestry formally launched the LMA records, I somehow discovered a list of what was available.

Now, I can find a lot of blether, but no details of what is there.

I don't subscribe to Ancestry (and don't have any London ancestors!) but would have thought that they would tell me somewhere what was actually there, to persuade me to subscribe.

    Is there a link?

Sorry, Elaine, but that doesn't work.

Yesterday I could drill down to see what was covered. Today they have reorganised it, so I can only see what period they are covering, not what it contains. Yesterday, I could see that there was precious little there, today I can old tell what periods are covered.

Thanks, Glen! It must have been the poor law stuff I had found, then. I wonder how the devil I managed it before?

Does anyone know if the 14 free trial with Ancestry allow me access to the recently added London records?

              Thanks

                  Thank you Elaine.

I've just been reading the other thread regarding Ancestry and the addition of the London Records. It seems that they have only just released the 'tip of the iceberg' so I may wait a bit longer.
