Does anyone have any knowledge of Salford and could help with identifying schools and churches around Garden Lane in Salford c1910.
Any help much appreciated.

Not far from Salford RC Cathedral, if that's any help:

Thanks Kite - wonder if the records are at Preston.
Hopefully if he was a good catholic boy (his mum was irish) he'd make his first communion and confirmation and they'd be a record.
Knowing my luck he wasn't and I'll have to trawl all the schools if they have still got admission records.
