Emailing a file

Can I e.mail a file of pictures?

Yes, I do it a number of times each month.
The easiest way is to simply attach the pictures/file to the email.

James, make sure the file isn't enormous though because if you send someone an email with very large attachments it might take ages getting through to them or clog up their inbox.

If you're sending several photos you may find it easier to use a photo-sharing site like Picasa and then tell your contact where to find them.

Or you can put them into a Zip file which will make it a lot smaller.
