  • census lookup please

i have the census in 1841, glassonby, cumberland or is it westmoreland?
    ho 107/171/2.

the palmer family of john and eleanor are mine, but above them is a robert palmer age 15. i can't read the occupation, and he says born in county.

can anyone please find robert in later censuses? i know palmer is a common name, but my palmer's seem to dissapear, and he could well help locate a distant branch.

any help would be great, thanx.

I did find a Robert born 1828 married to a Mary and he seems to be about in the few census, but dies in 1894 by the looks of it.

I dont know the area well enough to say for definate whether it is the same Robert that was in the 1841 cens. sorry.

cool, that means he was christened on the 12 dec 1827, morland, to james and jane palmer. at the mo i can't fit them in, but i'll see.

though i can't see where morland is now.
