    Could someone check out the Mecklenburg-Schwerin Census 1900 (German/Prussian) please? And pass on any finds, please to me. I have found: Johann Karl August Marten circa 1845 +/- 5years who is my gggrandfather if its him..first find about him ever!! so need help

        Unfortunately, it is more Johann Marten and some Karl Martens in the Mecklenburg-Census from this time. Are any indications of the place of residence or profession available? The search is then fundamentally simpler. The full name does not appear in the Census.
        Details on other family members also can localize the search.
        If I would have more information, I would be welcome to help you.

          Not sure if you saw the Mecklenburg thread a week or two ago but I have some photo's of Schwerin if you would like some. My daughter was there on a placement we and went to see her there last year. She would love your avatar as she has a thing about ducks!
