  • also missing on ancestry

A thread was started about a family missing on ancestry 1871 but on FMP ... as the family below are missing from ancestry in 1871 I was wondering if somebody would be so kind as to have a quick look on FMP to see if they are there as I'd love to know why there is such a big gap between the last two children.

    1881
Living at White Lee Villas, Crook and Billy Row, Co Durham
Jh’n Milburn 51, born 1830 in Old Shildon, Colliery Overman.
Mary Milburn 44, born 1837 in Stanhope.
John Geo Milburn 21, born 1860 occupation Deputy Overman.
Ann Milburn 19, born 1862 Sales Woman
Laidler Milburn 17, General Labourer, born 1864 in Crook,
Sarah Milburn 14, born 1867 in Crook, scholar.
Thomas William Milburn 6, born 1875 in Crook, Scholar.

    thankyou

I've had a quick look but cannot see anything - but I do remember that parts of Crook and Billy Row is missing on one of the censuses - it could well be 1871.

Thanks for having a look Elaine ... it's a shame really ... it might not tell me anything but a twenty year gap is a huge part out of a family.
