  • JOSHUA KIDGER born 1781/1782

I am stuck trying to find the birth / baptism of my GGGG grandfather JOSHUA KIDGER .

He was born 1781 or 1782 , around the time that his family were moving from Coleorton in NW Leicestershire to Chesterfield .

Joshua's father Richard and his uncle John were coalminers .
When he was a young man Joshua moved to Lancashire and married in Oldham in 1806 and , eventually , that's where I come in .

Please let me know if you find Joshua . The surname could be Kidger , Kiddier , Kidyer or anything else similar .

    Thanks John

Is he the Joshua Kidger living in Birmingham in 1851, age 76? Born Leicestershire Worthington? If that's not him then you have to make sure not to find that one's baptism by mistake!
