  • Any idea what this says?

It's a job on a 1900 US census. I'm hoping it's my Richard Turley from Kent. The age is right, the name's right but it just says England as POB so I hoping the job might help confirm but I cant read it. In England he was a Farmer's boy. I cant find him after 1881 nor can I find a death.

Possibly. I've no idea what that would be then. Doesn't sound farmlike though.

I wouldn't necessarily rule him out straightaway. One of my ag labs from Kent turned up in Australia as a photographer.
