  • 1911 census query

I've found someone in an institution who I'm interested in finding out more on.

Will a transcript definitely show the name of the institution?

It should tell you in the bottom left hand corner of the page.

My G Uncle was in Gore Farm Hospital, Dartford, Kent and it cost me 10 credits for the transcript to find out why he wasn't with the rest of the family in 1911.

Mine didn't. Not sure it was an institution, but my GGrandfather's 'father' was somewhere with a lot of people and it just gives the street address.

            Merry,

My experience is mixed: one institution was named, a workhouse school, but the other, probably a hospital, wasn't. As this was the sixth page I couldn't see how to reach the first.
