Rachel, what programme do you use to add the colour. It really made sense of the photo. Not all would be suitable but it would liven some up!

I have Photoshop CS2 and use "Adjustment Layers > Curves" to apply colour.
Don't know if the other photo programmes have these

For those on Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. I think I've found it (thanks Rachel
) After you've made your layer it seems to be under - Enhance - adjust colour - adjust colour curves.
