Anyone downloaded I.E.8 yet?

OH has just downloaded Internet Expolorer 8 on his PC. He says its positively whizzing along at the moment.

Before I download it on my laptop, anyone tried it and hasn't got on with it?

I have got it and am using it, like you Margaret I dont like FF and find it very cumbersome to use.

just seems the same as always for me, but also you should bear in mind is that in order for you to get the best out of FTF you should always have the latest browser possible.

no such thing as silly... try f5, or you can force a refesh ctrl +f5 or, if you use tabs, hover mouse over the tab you want to refresh 'right' click and refresh with mouse.

I havent got IE8 yet. Been using Opera for a while and now that I am used to it love some of its features. Most of all I appreciate the speed it loads pages.

OH has took IE 8 off his computer now. He reckons it was blocking things. What I don't know. He's gone back to 7.

He did say he lost his favs list when he uploaded it, so thats something to remember. Save your favs first.

It's official, at least according to the BBC News website, IE8 has been released. As a Firefox fan, I'll stick with what I've got.

I installed IE8 on a Vista Laptop and its great ,tried to install it on another and it said this one does not support it ?????

I've just tried to download it on to the notebook and it has said it wants me to download Microsoft SP3 - and I have no intention of putting that on - so I will stay with IE7!!!:p
