Would be grateful if anyone could do something with this photo. We think it could be 1890s and have been told that it is a tinplate photo. Not sure whether have followed the instructions properly, if not will try again later!

    Thanks

You've got the link wrong. You need to copy the link in the 4th option down - IMG Code

    should look like this
    [I MG]http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu137/frank99g/KempFamily1890s.jpg[/IMG]

      Hi
Just worked it out. Didn't realise you have to hover the cursor over the picture to get the four options. Once again thanks for your help

Somewhere between 1900 and 1910 looking at the clothes, I suspect by a street photographer?, as this was a quick and cheap way of taking photos. Maybe they were out in the park for a day out....

          Hi Barbara

They lived in Ramsgate so expect lots of street photographers around for the holiday makers.
Would you say the young girl was unmarried because otherwise her hair would be up?

Hi Modem, she is very young and she has a hat that is more a girls than a womans, she would put her hair up when she was classed as an adult, which would usually be before she was married.......
