  • Help to find ww1 records and medal card

    hi guys havent been on for a while, can someone help me to find a ww1 record and medal card for a frederick samuel bellamy born 1884 devon (exeter i think) he may have been calling him self frederick gard or samuel gard aswell.
    his brother william joined the TA as William Gard But then Joined up regular as William Bellamy

    would really appreciate it si.

    NO it isn't - this is dated 1876 so can't be your chap!

      Can't see a medal card for him as Bellamy or Gard, on Ancestry.

        There is a Frederick Samuel Bellamy on ancestry... born 1884 and gives his address in plymouth. (his occupation-bargeman)

              thanx guys ummmm seems to be a herd fella to find this fella frederick samuel bellamy does he have a brother called charlie gard? by any chance? would you be able to find this out you may have stumbled on something else!!

                      Some men weren't called up, just depends what his trade was I think, I know alot of my miners didnt go to war.
