Mail boxes have different settings and are different accounts in you mail client. The "aliases" all go to the same mail box.

You will need to go to you isp main web page and login to setup another email once this is done you then need to follow the steps below to put email account on your pc.


1. Start up Mail.

2. Choose the Mail Menu. Click on Preferences, and then Accounts.

3. Click on Create Account.

4. Set your Account type to POP. In the description box type: Virgin Broadband.

5. In the Email Address text box type: (your Virgin Broadband Username)@ntlworld.com, @blueyonder.co.uk or @virgin.net.

6. Type your name in the Full Name box.

7. In the Host Name text box type: pop.ntlworld.com, pop.blueyonder.co.uk or pop.virgin.net, with the end bit matching the end of you email address.

8. Fill in the Username and Password boxes.

9. In the SMTP Host text box, type: smtp.ntlworld.com, smtp.blueyonder.co.uk or smtp.virgin.net, with the end bit matching the end of you email address.

10. Click on the Account Options Tab and make sure the option ‘Delete messages on server after downloading’ is ticked.

11. Just click on the OK button.
