I am researching my grandmothers family. I have been unable to find any record of her birth on 29/9/1902. As she was supposed to be a Londoner I thought it would be easy to find. Both her parents were deaf and her Mum was unable to speak as well and probably illiterate. How do I go about looking for a birth certificate in these circumstances? Any advice.

I've found a Charles Sharp and his wife on the 1901 census - both of them say Deaf and dumb from childhood in the disabilities column, but the wife is Mary A not Charlotte.
I've found a Louisa and a Charles both the right age together in 1911. I'm just trying to work out who his wife is in 1911 (it's a big family!)
