    Is this the same handwriting on both of these notes?

    Yes.

    The captial M's are formed the same in Morton and My.

    Also the crossing of the "t"s is done in a dashing way, mostly missing the "t" altogether.

    The M in Madge is slightly different. However - my name starts with M and I do a different style M depending on where my name comes in the sentence! Does that make sense. (I do the same with capital A - if it starts a sentence, it is different from the A which appears as a captial in the middle of the sentence)
