at or near Bervie - can anyone tell me if it is still standing, please?
Was it an outpost of Bervie parish church? Was it used mainly by the fishing community?
    Grateful for any information.

Two services every Sunday, now part of the Baptist Church so any earlier connections to the Established church have been severed.

        Glen,
        Thankyou for that information.
Having looked at a marriage cert, seems it used to be Free Church of Scotland, which I think I'd confused with Church of Scotland.

Thanks also for the picture ref, which really shows my couple's link with the sea.

A lot of the church builkdings within Scotland (or should i say "inwith Scotland") have changed from one church organisation to another over time.
A small town may have several pow's dedicated to different groups, examples in the wiki such as Portree show how confusing it can be and the Dalbeattie talk page (thanks to GallowayLass asking the minister the "what, where and when") shows how often a building could change use or ownership.
