    - but surely she would have remarried under the name of Langford?

I would have thoght so too Elaine, but there`s no record at all of Ethel Langford....she reckons Ethel Grace Langford and her daughter Ethel Grace Langford are with Ethels Dad (Francis McDonald) on the 1911 census...I am wondering whether Frederick Langford took them with him when he went to Australia in 1912...and then they split up ....allan
