Ancestry UK Phone Books
14-02-09, 21:55
I haven't tried to use these for ages and I'm just getting "error processing request" when I click on the link.
Can someone please try and see if it is the same for them?

I think Ancestry's broken. I've been trying to find census images and got the same error message.

That's odd UJ. I can get the census images up without a problem
It has been so erratic for so long, it is no longer a surprise when something on there isn't working.:(

I've managed to get into them now via a general search for the name.
But I see the standard of transcription is as good as ever!

I'm pretty sure the phone books were done using OCR software.
