  • At war or at home?

    Hi All,

I have an Able Seaman's papers here, and as I am clueless when it comes to military stuff I'd like some help.

What I want to know is during the early part of 1918 was 'my man' ever out of action and likely to have fathered a child at home?

    Thanks

It looks as though he was out of action some of the time but in France - but Le Treport is near Calais so maybe he could have crossed the channel?
