I received my great grandmother's 1935 death cert yesterday.
This is the first English female death cert I have seen. Place of death is 5 Brunswick Square which googling shows was probably part of St Giles Hospital Camberwell. In the Occupation column there is the same address as the informant, my grandfather, followed by widow of ....and my gt grandfather's name and occupation.
Would I be right in thinking that the occupation column address would have been her usual address? And, if so, was it the norm to add a home address for any deaths occurring in a hospital?
