  • 1841 Census - missing

Having spent hours looking for 1841 records for Broad Oak, Sturry, Kent, a Google search informed me that they didn't exist. Is there any way I can find information about residents 1841-1850?

From the enumerator's description it looks as though Sturry comes under Blean.

    1841 England Census > Kent > Blean > District 12

    - Ancestry.co.uk

This link gave me the clue!!

Fuller Family History - Place Index for Kent 1841 Census

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick respponse Caroline. What I had discovered via my Google search was that the Sturry returns for 1841 are missing (National Archives HO 107/470 PARISH: Sturry MISSING 1841) so I was wondering whether there were any other means of finding information prior to the 1851 Census.
