Taskbar has moved

Don't know how I did it but it was at the bottom and is now all vertically along the left side.
How can I move it back please

Put your cursor on it, hold down the left mouse button and drag it back down to bottom of screen.

Thanks Elaine, got it back at the bottom but now it's 2 inch wide
Tried using black two headed arrow to reduce it but it isn't working. Any idea what I'm doing wrong.
Got it back to abut an inch now. still want it narrower. Think I may have a Problem with mouse.

Yvonne, right click on the task bar and click lock toolbar and it will not happen again
