Help finding Joe Gower please

I have Joe Gower in 1871 with his father and step mother in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire RG10; Piece: 1414; Folio: 35;

Joe was 23 then so born about 1848 in Whitchurch.

I think I have his marriage in 1873, Aylesbury reg dis Sep qtr 3a 760. He married either Emily Griffin or Mary Ann Lenny.

I can't find him in any census after that, nor can I find a death.

I did have a chuckle though while I was looking. I found an entry in 1881 for "Old Joe" and "His Wife" - too old to be your Joe though
