  • Welsh place name deciphered please

I have Amelia Gower on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census.

Really can't make out where she is from.

    1881 says Aberbig, Monmouthshire RG11; Piece: 1475; Folio: 26; Page: 15

    1891 Monmouth RG12; Piece: 2201; Folio 47; Page 7

    1901 Aberberg, Glamorgan RG11; Piece: 1475; Folio: 26; Page: 15

    My first venture into Wales

Aber-Big or Aberbeeg, according to GENUKI - it says see Llanhiledd / Llanhilleth:

Further research this morning has revealed that her father was a Navvy. Her parents were from Warwickshire and she was the only one of the family born in Wales. Doesn't look like I am going to have to delve into Welsh research at the moment.
Elder child born Leicestershire, her in Wales and the next one in Derbyshire.

          Certainly moved around.
