    Help!!

I'm looking for members of the Batten family born in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire. Joseph Batten (1829), Elizabeth Batten (1832) and Sarah Eliza (1852). Their parents were Benjamin Batten and Sophie Biggerstaff.

They seem to have just disappeared! Can anyone help?

    Cheers

                  Batten Family - Abbots Langley

                  Hi there

Thanks for the replies to my previous message. Thanks Jessbowbag for your info - did not realise they had had the triplets, although Elton must have died early as well. Ellen was 2nd daughter of that name as 1st one also died at an early age.
My gt grandather was Edward (born 1837) and it is his siblings Joseph (born 1829), Elizabeth (born 1832) and Sarah Eliza (born 1852) who I am looking for. Elizabeth not on 1851 census and can't find, Joseph not on 1861 census and can't find, Sarah - can't find after 1861 census.

                  Regards

After reading all the above postings, it sounds ridiculous to suggest alternatives! I have Battams in my husbands tree, and they are down as Bottams, Badhams,Battens etc etc.
