  • Found a book that may have been written by an ancestor

I found this book on Amazon -

ORIGINAL PATENT APPLICATION NUMBER 1,376 FOR A NEW ORGAN MANUAL LINCOLN .: Amazon.co.uk: John James Henry. Caley: Books

Does anyone have any ideas on where I could research about this book without
    buying it ?

It seems to be published by HMSO and relates to musical organs?

Might it be available through your library? or a music/organ museum?

Libraries have an agreement that you can get them to see if they can find it for you from other libraries and borrow it for you if they can find it.
This usually incurs a small charge 50p approx and may take a couple of weeks to find it.

Historical patents are available for purchase at a low fee from the Intellectual Property Organisation (I think that's what it's called).
