    Just to give me a laugh, maybe.

    Isabella C Grant

    Class HO 107, Piece 1952, Folio 21, Page 35.

    Please tell me what Isabella is calling herself.

        That's what I read.............


        It's not important, but I have a copy of a letter from one of my Grant rellies. It is dated 1851.
        The writer is annoyed that Henry Grant (his parents had the nerve to "move south" before Henry was born) had come back and married Isabella.

        Apparently Henry was in the Army (fits with the census) and hadn't married at that late age (also fits).

        Now if this is the same family, then Isabella is as much a lady as my big toe.

        I wonder....................

        A very distant twig though........lol

            I wasn;t even looking for her......lol

            I was trying to find something about the address as a few pages before that record, OH's Mary Ariel is at school.

            The address is Princes Building Clifton so i was just roaming down the road (as you do)

            The things you find.....(maybe)
