Ancestry tree question

When I took out the new Ancestry sub throught the Australian site I started a new user name and email address.

I have cancelled renewal to the old account and deleted the tree off there. This was in my husbands email address. He is still getting emails from possible contacts.
Do you still get them even though the tree is deleted?
Or, does it take a while for the names to disappear?

I only deleted the tree yesterday.

The new tree on the new user name is still being processed it says. I uploaded the new gedcom last night.

It seems to take a few days for a new tree to appear so I wonder if it takes a few days for it disappear as well!

If you want to pm me some of the more unusual names that might show up then I would be happy to check for you.

I still have the old sub until the end of the month so I can use each one to check for the tree on either site.

I have deleted trees before and it does normally take a few days for it to show on the site. From memory, I think it's a week, though it may not be that long.
