  • william taylor merrick and anna merrick marriages

I`ve tried without success to find the marriages of 2 ancestors
Anna Merrick b 1850 Ocle Pychard(herefords)not on freebmd)
    William Taylor Merrick b 1855 Ocle Pychard "" """
their sister Mary Ann b 1852(marianne) married my gg grandfather in Garston,Liverpool in 1874
could someone see if they can find them in Herefordshire or Garston in the 1871 census please...I don`t know whether they moved to Liverpool with Marianne or stayed in Ocle Pychard ,herefords
in the 1861 census they are on a 100 acre farm...their parents were Edward Merrick b 1828 norton canon herefords and Ann Taylor b1822 Dilwyn herefords
    thanks...allan;)

How have you confirmed the parents of Anna and Marianne?

I was looking for the 1861 census as a starting point and the only one I can find is:

    Household
    Edward Merrick 34 b 1827 Norton Canon - farmer
    Ann Merrick 32 b 1829 Dilwyn
William Layla Merrick 6 (William Taylor Merrick on image)
    Mary Stephens 18
    William Boulcott 18
    John Arrowsmith 14
    RG9; Piece: 1828; Folio: 138; Page: 11

    - no Anna or Marianne with rest of family

Have I got the wrong family?

Ah - Edward in the 1851 census is married - so maybe was not in same household as wife.

            I'll look for her separately.

            Marriage from IGI
            Anne Taylor / Edward Merrick
15 FEB 1849 Dilwyn, Hereford, England

Oh right, I thought you meant they were your direct ancestors. Maybe they didn't get married at all, then.
