census check please for Oakes in Garston

Hi...just had an e-mail from a fellow Garstonian..whilst looking for his own family he came across the following
11 Stanley St
Oakes William Edward 1892 M 19 West Derby Lancs
Oakes Frances Emily 1908 F 3 West Derby Lancs
Oakes Lucy Jane 1881 F 30 West Derby Lancs
Oakes William Daniel 1906 M 5 West Derby Lancs
I don`t have ANY of these in my tree...
I desperately need to find the husband of Lucy Jane and also William Edwards parents (he looks like Lucy Janes nephew)
so I am going onto freebmd and lancs bmd to try and find any info
I have William Edward b 1877 (my g grandfather)
and William Edward b 1896 (the aboves nephew)
so I am pretty certain William Edward 1892 is my family..I need to make the connection....any advice/help appreciated...cheers...allan;)

Okay...found the marriage of Lucy Jane Lane to Daniel Oakes my g grandfathers younger brother.1804 in St Michaels ,Garston...great.
I now need to find out William Edward b 1892..who`s his father ??...cheers...allan

I just looked at the Births coverage on the Lancs BMD:

Looks like he got that info from 1911 census. Is he sure about the age 18... could be 15?

There is a William Eric Oakes b 1895 Garston with parents Charles Robert and Agnes

I looked for Frances Emily Oakes with William Edward as another person in the household. It confirmed that but didn't give me his last name.

I just did a full person search for William Edward with a fullstop (.) in the surname part and the address in the residence.;)

It probably would have worked if you did a search for William Edward . b 1892 +/- 1, and put Frances Emily Oakes as another person.
