  • Have ancestry removed birth indexes?

I'm trying to find the birth indexes for 1984-2005

It's no longer included in the list of UK collections and after lots of hunting I finally got to the page that links you to search the individual indexes but it won't give me any hits and at the top of the page where it shows what you're searching it's saying "UNKNOWN"

England & Wales Birth Marriage and Death Indexes 1837-2005 - Ancestry.co.uk

(scroll down to complete BMD indexes 1984-2005 and click on Births)

Same for me, Zoe. Let's hope it's just temporary.

ooooh - off to try again

It' silly really, I'm just trying to confirm the age of my cousins little girl and am too embarrassed to admit to him (or any family) that I've forgotten
