Edward Carroll - Confectioner

Hello all

Can somebody please do me a favour and see if they can spot a family on the 1861 census possibly in Surrey by the name of Carroll?

The head of the household should be an Edward Carroll c1830 (rough guess) with wife Catherine.
There will be a son with them named John William Carroll born 1854 in Surrey.

Edward should be listed as a Confectioner as on his sons marrige cert that is what is stated.

Where in Surrey was John born? I can't see anything at the moment.

He was born in Blackwater if that helps

Ill just check to see if i have siblings for him.

I know that John married Annie Locke in Hampshire and lived there when he wasnt travelling with the forces.

Edward and Catherine may have moved there also.

I think Blackwater is actually in Hampshire rather than Surrey (in case this makes a difference to your searching!). Someone born there should be registered in Farnborough District, but I couldn't see a birth for JWC. There is a birth for an Ann Carll in Winchester district in Q3 1852 though.
