Not sure if I understand your question Glen but I found an Annie Turner b; 1890 in Sheffield but living in Nether Hallam, Yorkshire in 1901. A Butler Goddard b;Sheffield and living in Brightside Bierlow, Yorkshire. Does this make sense?

      Hi Buttercup

yes it makes sense, bit of a long story from another thread :D

It's just possible that the Goddard and Turner families were known to each other, (the two folks named married in 1927). The Ecclesall Bierlow pob might be a clue, it suggests the families could have been acquainted pre 1901 i suppose.

I looked to see if they were close on the map and really couldn't figure out where either places were, they don't come up on multimap and I have no clue about the area Maybe an old map would show if these two places are near each other!

There not a million miles apart but not right next door to each other.

Perhaps the '91 might show a different story. Don't panic though, it's a long story and a bit of a nightmare so far. Post #53 and #58 on my other thread probably gives a clue to what i'm trying to prove

This may be going off in completely the wrong direction - but did you see that there could be three children bron to Goddard and Turner, the first in 1928 after the marriage in 1927 and the name is Joseph! I thought that could be significant since the third child from the previous relationship that died was Joseph. Cyril in 1929 and Doreen in 1930. Not sure it helps your search though, I read some of it. :D

Is there anyone who could post the details for the two families (including the addresses please) for 1901 and 1891 please.

I'm not saying the detals will prove anthing relating to my other query but i can add it to the mix.

              Thanks in advance.

                Morning Glen
I have just saved the Ancestry 1901 for an Annie Turner and Butler Goddard and they are both in Brightside Beirlow! I will get 1891 also, do you want me to email them to you, I don't know how to attach them on here?
