Engine stoker that stoked a stationary engine,
( at a mine or a mill or something) rather than say a train engine

      Welcome to FTF.

Just to let you know that I have removed one of the images from your first post as we are not allowed to post complete copies of census pages as it violates copyright regulations.
A small section of the page, as in your other image, is fine.

          Hi Brenda!

Im not entirely sure i have asked me nan but she cant remember him doing that kind of job. How ever if the census is correct my nan wouldn't of been born when he did this as his job.

          Thank you!

I would have thought it meant stoker of a stationery engine. One that worked machinery in a factory or mine.
