    Anyone know how to speed up compies?

    Mine's new but sometimes a bit slow. I've deleted a few background programmes. Wondering what else to do.

    Is it slow when running programs or is it slow in loading internet pages / downloading stuff?

        Run the Task Manager (accessed via CTRL-ALT-DEL) to see what is running and how much of the CPU various programs are using.
