I'm looking at an 1867 Marriage Cert for Gt G/father William Molyneux which shows his father also William Molyneux a miner. Would this suggest William senior was alive and present at the Marriage? My reason for asking is that I cant find a death for 'Senior' other than a 1859 registration.

Father's name on the certificate is definitely not a sign that father was present at the wedding as its simply a question asked of the couple to be married.
His name should be listed whether he was alive or not, and although theoretically it should say deceased by his name if he was not alive that depends very much on how the question was posed, and how it was answered.Judith passed away in October 2018
