It was the same with the 1901 I seem to remember. I never looked at transcriptions - seemed daft to pay twice! If it was the wrong one, then hard luck, If it was the right one I would always want the original so it saves in the end.
I'm still the same - on Ancestry I never look at the transcription, although I guess I would if not on broadband!
