            Thanks Lindsay

Mistranscription of Stixwould, a tiny place so a nice one to search. I wonder if Fisherton is really Fiskerton?

the 1901 details are interesting too, probably a fluke but Webb St does come up later in another family line

                Yippee

Freereg has several entries for N. Hykeham baptisms that match AND it looks like Philip could (though i need to dig around a bit) could even link to my adoptive family through marriage.

I'm a bit gobsmacked at the minute :D

                  Hi,
I have Lincolnshire Scarboro in my family tree and it is very difficult to check as the spelling changed depending on who completed the census returns and certs etc.
I have Scarboro, Scarber, Scarborough, Scarbro!
All seem to be the same family!
                  Katrina.

                    Hi Katrina

The Scarborough (and variants) are slightly off my direct line so i haven't verified everything via certs etc. They actually link into the direct line for one of my first cousins and from time to time i head off down a side branch when a village or name pops up elsewhere.
