Hello,
I'm Brian, part Cumbrian, part Geordy, living in Lancs . . long story
I'm the UK based researcher for an American author who is writing a book about an English fishing reel maker.
If anyone can help with the name Dingley (William Henry, aka Walter, 1858 - 1946. Born West Brom; most of working life in Alnwick, Northumberland.) I'd be very grateful.
Also interested in anyone who can give an insight into the social and business life of Alnwick before and after the first World war, and the impact the war had on the town. Any Alnwick natives on board?
Sorry to ramble but all help appreciated
Happy 2009
Brian
